What is Board & Train?

Board & Train is an immersive training experience where your dog stays with us for a dedicated period, usually 2 weeks or more, to learn essential skills and manners under professional guidance. While your dog is in our care, we work intensively on behavior modification and obedience training, providing a focused environment free from everyday distractions. This hands-on approach accelerates learning and helps establish lasting habits, making your life easier and your dog happier.

Training isn’t just about commands; it’s about building a strong, trusting relationship between you and your dog. Our programs focus on emotional wellbeing, confidence building, and real-life skills that improve your dog’s overall quality of life. From managing anxiety and reactivity to teaching impulse control and calmness, we aim to create balanced dogs who thrive in your home and community.

What Our Program Covers

Our Board & Train program is priced at $60 per night and are tailored to address a wide range of common challenges and foundational skills, including:

Jumping and barking management
Leash manners and loose leash walking
Basic obedience commands (sit, stay, recall, heel)
Counter surfing prevention
Off-leash reliability
Reactivity and aggression management
Anxiety reduction techniques
Crate training and settling calmly

Prices include:
One midway training session with you to review progress and answer questions (If needed)

O to three follow-up coaching sessions after the program to support ongoing success

Pricing is subject to each dog’s individual needs and behavior. Final pricing and length of stay are agreed upon in advance.

All prices are subject to 5% GST.

Continued Support

Our commitment to your dog’s success doesn’t end when they leave our care. We offer follow-up coaching sessions, refresher training, and personalized support to help you maintain and build on your dog’s progress at home. We’re here to answer questions, troubleshoot challenges, and celebrate milestones with you every step of the way.

Boarding Requirements

To ensure the safety and health of all dogs in our care, we require:

Full vaccinations, including Rabies, Bordetella, and Distemper (DHLPP)
Minimum age of 6 months to join our Board & Train programs
Proof of current vaccinations must be provided before the start of training

What age dogs can join your Board & Train programs?

We accept dogs starting at 6 months old. Puppies younger than 6 months can benefit from our Puppy Pathways program once they reach that age.

Will I get to participate in my dog’s training?

Absolutely! You will join the midway session to see your dog’s progress and learn how to continue training at home. Continued support sessions are also available to help you maintain results.

Can you help with severe behavior problems?

Yes, our Programs are tailored for dogs with anxiety, reactivity, aggression, and other complex issues. Duration and pricing vary based on severity and individual needs.

What if I want to add extra training or follow-up?
